A new video calling feature is about to be introduced on the Twitter X

Social media platform X is going to launch its new video calling feature which will essentially provide Zoom-like functionality within the X app. According to the screenshot provided, X has created a working version of its video conferencing platform. .

The new option will be added as a separate functionality along the right side function bar, and once enabled will include full video streaming functionality for participants.

It's not yet known how many participants will be shown on the screen, but X's video calling option (which it rolled out to all users in February) is currently more limited than video chat options in other apps.

So, potentially, X's conference calls will be limited to four participants on screen. However, it wants to improve it to better match Zoom, and other conference chat apps. This update is another step towards Elon Musk's vision of making the platform an “everything app” that facilitates all your interactive and transactional needs in one place.
