Vivo Y18 Price increases in Pakistan Rs 5,000 Added to the Retail Cost
It has come
to our attention that Vivo is currently adjusting its pricing strategy in
Pakistan. A number of their smartphone models are experiencing an increase in
prices.
For instance, the budget-friendly Vivo Y18 (4/128GB) has seen a significant price hike, now being sold at Rs 38,500 as opposed to its previous price of Rs 33,500. This means consumers will need to pay an additional 5000 rupees for the phone.
The price of
Y18’s (6/128GB) variant has been adjusted. Previously, it was sold for Rs
38,000, but now there is a Rs 5,000 increase, making the official cost Rs 43,000.
Considering this change,
it is
important to reassess the phone’s specifications to determine if it still
offers good value at its current price point. Y18 features a 6.56” IPS LCD
display with HD+ resolution and is IP54 waterproof. The panel includes a V
notch and a thick chin, but it also offers a smooth 90Hz experience.
The Helio
G85 chipset is utilized in this device, offering a 12nm platform with a maximum
frequency of 2.0GHz. The Funtouch OS 14 is known for its lightweight nature,
ensuring smooth software performance. Running on an extension of Android 14,
the interface includes all the latest Google features on the Vivo new 4G
mobile.
On the rear,
the device features a 50 MP primary camera and a 0.08 MP AI lens, while the
front camera for selfies is 8 MP. Additionally, there is a side fingerprint
sensor and 15W standard charging. With a 5000mAh capacity, the Y18 can easily
last through a full day of use.
